Art Therapy workshops for businesses, organizations, and groups.

Art therapy workshops are not clinical psychotherapy, but are contained group spaces where participants can communicate with one another in unique ways, reflect on their own thoughts, emotions, and motivations, and give and receive support.

A selection of workshop offerings are described below. We also partner with clients to design workshops tailored to specific needs.

If you would like to bring an art therapy workshop to your school, business, organization, or community, please contact us for pricing and additional information.

WHAT WE THINK WE DESERVE:
An art therapy workshop for self-love and future-dreaming.

Many of us receive messages, throughout our lives, that we are unworthy. Unworthy of love, unworthy of respect, unworthy of joy or pleasure, unworthy of patience, unworthy of safety, unworthy of dignity, care, humanity. This happens to most humans in modern culture, and it becomes compounded as we experience multiple layers of oppression in a white supremacist, cis-heteropatriarchal, ableist, ageist, capitalist society. In this workshop, we make art to reclaim our inherent worthiness, in spite of all that has been hurled at us.

WHO I AM is an art-based workshop series for teens by Yael Divon, MSATC (of Cary Art Therapy) and Cassie Hamrick, ATR-BC, LCMHC (of Healing Arts Collaborative). Each two-hour session involves art-making and teen-centered conversation about identity, self-esteem, and healthy relationships. Welcoming to teens of all backgrounds and identities.
