Snapshot:
My work in art therapy and counseling is deeply threaded with my personal art practice and social justice activism; together, these three modes of work constitute one, holistic praxis. My goal as a therapist is to create safe environments where people feel empowered to direct their own personal journeys of healing and fulfillment. I work from an intersectional lens, meaning I believe most people experience multiple, layered oppressions, and I will work with you to address the impact of those oppressions as they may arise in your life.

My supervision sessions are oriented within social justice and liberation principles, prioritize ongoing analysis of power and oppression, and enthusiastically affirm lived experience as professional expertise. I actively incorporate art-making into supervision, and encourage supervisees to engage in reflective art activities during and outside of our sessions.
